The lifetime RESP contribution limit is $50,000. There is no annual limit on RESP contributions. The maximum annual RESP contribution that qualifies for the 20% CESG is $2,500. The maximum lifetime CESG is $7,200. The maximum CESG for one year is $1,000 if there is unused grant room from previous years.
